Request for input: Going from assumptions to data - Define with us the TYNDP 2018 scenarios

The ENTSO for gas and electricity had gathered in the past 6 month significant feedback for the stakeholder on the assumptions and storylines of the 2030 and 2040 scenarios for the TYNDPs 2018. Now the ENTSOs invite you to express your view on how to interpret the feedback: e.g. what does it mean “high RES penetration”? What is meant “in line with 2050 targets”?
Framing the assumption – how and when
1. First step is by answering the current request for input . In the online system we ask your views (ranges, figures) for all the parameters for three scenarios which the ENTSOs chose to consider for TYNDP 2018 (which we will explain in the even below).
2. Participating on 10 October (10:30 – 13:00 CET) at the ENTSOs public webinar. This 2.5h public webinar aims at:
- explaining how the previous feedback from stakeholders and member states were considered
- presenting the chosen TYNDP 2018 scenarios
- gathering additional feedback directly in the webinar
- explaining the next steps in the scenario development
In order to participate to the webinar one shall register at the following link no later than 9 October. After registering, the participant will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
