The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) was founded in 2009 in line with Regulation (EC) 715/2009, to facilitate cooperation between the national gas transmission system operators (TSOs), to ensure the development of a pan-European transmission system and to meet European Union energy and climate goals. ENTSOG and the gas TSOs work to progress net-zero decarbonisation by 2050.

“ENTSOG will continue the open and transparent stakeholder engagement needed to achieve our common goals – to meet EU energy and climate targets.”

Bart Jan Hoevers

ENTSOG President

“ENTSOG supports decision makers as a trusted advisor, by mapping gas infrastructure, analysing energy system synergies and providing quality data to all stakeholders.”

Piotr Kuś

ENTSOG General Director
