Workshop on “TYNDP 2018 project collection: implementation guidelines and timeline”

Dear Sir or Madam,

On 23 November 2017, ENTSOG hosted a workshop on the Guidelines for inclusion of projects in the ENTSOG 10-year network development plan (TYNDP) and on the TYNDP 2018 Project Collection.

The aim of the workshop was to get views on the draft Guidelines for inclusion of projects in TYNDP, as well as to inform the participants of the main improvements and the timeline related to the TYNDP 2018 Project Collection.

To those of you who attended the workshop, thank you for your participation and the active contribution. The presented material is now available on the ENTSOG website, here.

Please, note that for Project Promoters that did not have the chance to take part in the Workshop there is still the opportunity to provide feedback on the Draft Implementation Guidelines (available here), completing the questionnaire, also available here.

The completed questionnaire should be submitted to ENTSOG by sending an email to Stefano Astorri (Stefano.Astorri@entosg.eu) and/or (Rares.Mitrache@entsog.euno later than Thursday 7 December.

We thank you again for your contributions and look forward to your continued participation in the TYNDP 2018 process.

Context
In early 2018, ENTSOG will launch the data collection for projects to be included in the TYNDP 2018. In line with Reg. 347/2013, Annex III.2(5), ‘the Commission shall issue Guidelines on criteria to be applied by the ENTSO for electricity and the ENTSO for gas when developing their respective TYNDPs’. Based on this regulation, ENTSOG is currently working on its specific TYNDP guidelines, derived from EC’s general guidelines, which are to be applied to the TYNDP 2018

Yours Sincerely,
