Veronika Herter started her career with the German transmission system operator Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) in 2007.
As a Key Account Manager she was responsible for various national and international shippers and their different related transport issues. She accompanied the implementation of the changing marketing related processes, in particular contract amendments due to the introduction of the entry/exit system, market mergers and switch to revenue cap tariff system.
In addition, she actively worked in various projects on cross-border cooperation with European TSOs: In the pilot project with Fluxys Belgium she was involved in marketing a new European cross-border bundled capacity product on the Capsquare platform. During the early phase of the PRISMA project Veronika represented OGE in order to early implement of the NC CAM processes. Afterwards she took part in the negotiations and marketing related processes regarding the cross-border bundling contracts. In the project of creating successfully the first virtual IP in Germany between OGE and GUD she coordinated the communication and contract related issues with the OGE shippers.
Veronika studied Business Administration with the main subject of Energy and Resource Economics at the University of Muenster, Germany and at the University of Alberta, Canada.
Veronika joined ENTSOG’s market team in December 2014.
