Gaetano Mazzitelli is Chief Commercial & Regulatory Officer at SNAM. He is also President/CEO of ITG, the company owning and operating the pipeline connecting Adriatic LNG terminal with the Italian network. He is Chairman of the Shareholder Meeting of PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH.
He has been Board Director in TAG GmbH and in Interconnector UK Ltd.

Gaetano has a long experience in the activities of associative bodies in the natural gas sector. He is currently member of the Board of ENTSOG and GIE and Executive Committee member of GTE and GSE. He is also executive member in the Comitato Tecnico Energia of Confindustria, the main association representing the industrial sector in Italy.

He began his career in SNAM in 1995 playing roles of increasing responsibility in strategic planning, business development and regulatory affairs. In the course of his professional experience, he has developed a deep knowledge of the regulated businesses in the natural gas industry, both at national and European level.

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and achieved a Master on Business for Energy and Environment at the Eni School for higher studies "E. Mattei".
