Workshop for the CAM NC amendment

Dear Sir or Madam,

The European Network of Transmission Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) is pleased to invite you to its Workshop for the CAM NC amendment, on 28 March 2017 in Brussels.

These are the three areas that will be covered at the Workshop:

  • Incremental capacity - description of the INC process: demand assessment, design phase, NRA approvals, economic test, allocation rules
  • Overview of all changes in the CAM NC amendment
  • Capacity conversion - introduction of ENTSOG capacity conversion model proposal

The CAM NC amendment is foreseen to be adopted and published in the Official Journal of the European Union in the middle of March, with its first application date 20 days later.

The first market demand assessment for Incremental Capacity shall be conducted in 2017, as from the entry into force of the CAM NC, as laid out in Article 26(1) CAM NC amendment. At the Workshop ENTSOG will provide stakeholders with an overview of the 1st INC process.

In addition, ENTSOG will present and would like to discuss with stakeholders its Capacity conversion model proposal that is to be developed according to Article 21(3) CAM NC amendment. It will be a finalization of ENTSOG’s work on capacity conversion issues.
The Capacity conversion model proposal will be available in the Downloads Area from 21 March 2017.

The Workshop will give stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarifications, and lively participate in discussions.

The venue for this event is the Thon Hotel EU, Rue de la Loi 75, 1040 Brussels.
